Panel discussion Sidney- level 1 'D'

Universities are overflowing with data. But what are the opportunities, and challenges, as they use more of it to help with their fundamental missions of teaching and research, as well as to support effective institutional management? This session will bring together some of the country’s leading experts, looking at the breadth of data available nationally (and what’s coming next), as well as at innovative uses of data to support teaching, measure learning gain, encourage world-class research and manage growing institutions. Questions about the limits of data will also be addressed as our panel considers how it can best be harnessed to deliver on universities’ varied aims and ambitions.
